Victoria is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has worked within the RCVS veterinary nursing department for over 20 years. She began her career as an external verifier, monitoring the quality of RCVS Awards Level 3 qualifications, before becoming Examinations Manager in 2008, where she oversaw the development and delivery of the final examinations required for veterinary nurse registration. Following the closure of RCVS Awards, Victoria continued to lead examinations for veterinary nurses educated overseas who wish to join the register. Throughout her career, she has championed fair and inclusive assessment practices, with a particular focus on implementing reasonable adjustments to support students. In 2025, she led the development of Embracing Reasonable Adjustments for Student Veterinary Nurses, a guidance document designed to help education providers meet registration requirements while supporting individual needs. The guide also serves as a resource for students and employers. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys walking, crochet, and creating clinical skills models for use in practical examinations.
