Vil graduated from Surrey in 2022 and while working as a mixed practice vet in Cornwall for a couple of years, he took more interest in charity work alongside his day job. Seeing the variety of species in day-to-day practice, he also joined two charities, British Divers Marine Live Strandings and StreetVet to be a volunteer vet. From dealing with Cornish wildlife to treating the pets of those experiencing homelessness, Vil has recently moved on to work for APHA as a border control vet at London airports. Changing location didn’t stop him from continuing with the charity work and now Vil is part of the StreetVet London team.
