Pride month is all about celebration and advocacy for our LGBTQIA+ community, meaning among the wonderful celebration, it’s important we recognize the ongoing challenges and discrimination faced by LGBTQIA+ and how we can work together towards greater acceptance and inclusion, especially in our veterinary community.

We're thrilled to highlight Affinity Future’s newly launched a transformative online 90-minute course on mastering respectful and inclusive language: “Introduction to Inclusive Terminology.
The course is essential for anyone in the veterinary field who wants to communicate more inclusively and respectfully with people from various marginalised communities. If you've ever found yourself unsure of what to say or how to say it, this course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence. Together, we can make inclusivity a standard practice in every conversation.

Affinity Futures will also be running an immersive workshop on challenging scenarios, in the Community Masterminds programme in London Vet Show 2024. Led by Affinity Futures facilitators, in a safe and inclusive space, the workshop’s aim to is to enhance your ability to navigate challenging discussions on discrimination and bias in practice, we present real-life scenarios and equip you with practical tools to promote diversity and inclusivity in your practice or organization.
