In collaboration with NVS, London Vet Show announced the launch of a new initiative for their 2023 show. The pioneering initiative, called the New Practice Academy aims to provide resources and enhanced support to veterinarians looking to launch a new independent veterinary practice.

The initiative is designed to address the evolving needs of veterinary professionals and empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to open their independent veterinary practice by providing a dynamic platform for continuous learning.

Vet Show 30 Under 30 is an initiative, founded in partnership with Pioneer Veterinary Products, dedicated to fostering talent in the veterinary industry today. This initiative allows tomorrow’s veterinary leaders to come together, gain recognition from their peers and colleagues and receive an acknowledgment for their early career work.

All veterinary professionals ages 29 and under (or who have turned 30 in 2022) are encouraged to enter for the chance to participate. Individuals can nominate themselves, or be nominated by a colleague, peer or friend.

A private space to support Groups (such as Vet Mums, Vets: Stay Go Diversify British Veterinary Ethnicity and Diversity Society and many more to be confirmed) to meet-up live, and discuss and debate an issue unique to them in a safe, acomodating and inclusive atmosphere.

Sessions are always well attended and prove that although the London Vet Show is the biggest event in the industry, it doesn’t need feel isolating or intimidating. Full listings can be found in the conference programme
